While I take credit for the actual penning of the Star Horrors stories, I cannot honestly say that they are entirely my work. Ideas for the first installment came from various asunder sources in the form of jokes and what if's long before a single word was written.

In retrospect, it is easy to convince myself that all I did was amass these ideas and put words to them. However, this is not true either. The plot of the original story is solely the product of my twisted imagination. For those of you who are presently muttering "there's a plot?" let me assure you that the plot is of the least significance, and you haven't missed much.

The humor of the original A New Empire (named Star Horrors: A New Empire after the third revision) was extremely off-beat and comprised mostly of so-called "inside" jokes. The latest revision corrects this problem somewhat in that the humor is only marginally off-beat, and at least some of the jokes are intended for all fans of Star Wars. The plot has improved leaps and bounds from the beginning (over five years ago!) through the present, and is now followable by most.
