[Star Horrors]

Where to begin? Star Horrors is the title conferred on what is ultimately a parody of George Lucas' classic Star Wars saga; however, when weighed between Star Wars and everything else, it has a very loose basis in the former and a relatively heavy basis in the latter. The story began some six years ago, and has been evolving ever since, reaching its apogee in some respects as a film three years ago.

Why Star Horrors exists at all is a question I ponder quite often. At first glance, it seems to be nothing more than a text intended for humor--succeeding sometimes, failing miserably at other times. My collaborators and I have been fans of Star Wars for as long as I can remember, and being in junior high when this story began orally, we found it quite entertaining to create characters based both in our respective personalities and the personality of a character from Star Wars and then place these de facto hybrids in a funny situation. This is really how Star Horrors came about--through the characters.

At some point, I took it upon myself to write down the stories created from these situations. It started as an anthology of sorts, but eventually I combined the stories and added a plot. After much tweaking, the result of this labor is what you have before you. Hopefully you are at least entertained, and, if you have any questions, comments, complaints, or praise, please don't hesitate to email me.
